About Us

Jeanette and Tatiana - Producers of Splurge Victoria

Created in 2005 by two friends with a passion for BC-made fashion and accessories, Splurge has developed a loyal following of fans and supporters. Splurge is now synonymous with fun, one-of-a-kind Victoria shopping events and as a ‘go to’ resource for BC style & trends with its popular biweekly free e-newsletter, Splurge 411.

At Splurge, we’re firm believers in the power of supporting local designers and have coined the term hundred mile style. By providing a one-stop-shopping experience, we believe that Islanders can sustain their style by buying high quality, locally produced items directly from BC designers, or at the very least locally owned retailers. Splurging is about investing in items that will look incredible for years and are made with integrity.

Through our shows to date, over $6,000 has been raised and donated to our chosen charity, Artemis Place: Integrated Lifeskills and Education for Girls.

2009 marks Splurge’s fifth anniversary and a year of tremendous growth. Splurge is expanding to the iconic Crystal Garden in downtown Victoria, providing the signature event with 6,000 thousand square footage of space which gives us ample space for fashion shows, beauty demos, 50+ exhibitor spaces, a tea sampling station, multiple manicure/pedicure tents, change rooms, ample natural light, and much more.
